Structure of Hangeul
- The main principles of Hunminjeongeum, the protocol of Hangeul, can be explained by two aspects, which demonstrate the superiority of Hangeul.
- The shapes of letters comes from the images of speech organ, earth, sky and man.
- Based on the basic letters, rest letters of the alphabet were added to raise association.
- Hangeul is a phonemic writing system that has differing consonant and vowels units.
- The characteristics of Hangeul is that the two differing consonants and vowels form a syllable when combined, which is similar to the syllabic character system.
